Great tour with a select few cellars and great stories and information. I went alone but had great company with others on the tour.

I really enjoyed this tour. Our driver Ian was great. The wine tastings were very generous. Lunch was good. My only comment would be that with all the wine on offer more food was needed. At the last stop a small cheese plate was offered and everyone appreciated it. Nibbles with each tasting would be a good idea when so much wine is being consumed.

We did a private wine tour with Kieran as our lovely host. All 3 wineries we visited were amazing. Lunch at Josef Chrome’s was slightly disappointing but the wine tasting experience with Sandy was superb. We did not feel rushed and had a lovely day

Terry was our host for this tour and was fabulous. Just the right amount of information at each place we visited and then he'd leave us to the tastings. There was definitely no shortage of wines to try, with our first stop at Velo winery to taste 9 wines. After that we went to lunch at the Ducks Bar and Restaurant - a beautiful setting and a delicious lunch. It was nice to be with a small group and be able to chat with everyone. Post lunch to Cabbage Tree Hill winery for another 8 tastings, then onto Moores Hill winery. Last but definitely not least was to the Swinging Gate vineyard. A very laid back, rustic, non-pretentious winery with many interesting and eclectic wines on offer. Some were an acquired taste but it was great to try them. Terry provided us with cheese platters to enjoy and it was like sitting with a few of your mates drinking wine, talking rubbish, and eating cheese. Magic. A very full day and we loved every minute of it.

A great day spent exploring some of the wine region led by Carol our tour guide. It was my daughters first wine tour and we had the best day out, wine was fabulous, lunch was delicious and the cheese platter wonderful. Definitely recommend this tour ⭐️

Great day out , Terry was a great host and informative about the wineries. Enjoyed so cheese and crackers at the last winery, I would have liked to have tried the cheese at the winery that also makes it and been able to purchase some, as it was amazing cheese. Other than that, couldn’t fault the tour and the lunch was lovely and a beautiful spot. Would definitely recommend.

What a fantastic day we had from the time Gillian picked us up to the time we were dropped off. The tour included great wineries and lunch at the The Ducks was superb. Gillian was very knowledgeable about the local wineries history and wines. Brought some great wines which was shipped back to Qld from the last winery. Definitely value for money and put on the 'to do list' when visiting Launceston.

Our host, Jill, is incredible.. made the whole tour a wonderful experience. The wineries have quite unique characteristics of their own.. Swinging Gate was a pleasant surprise! An enjoyable lunch our group had at Rosevears! Thank you Tamar Valley Wine Tour 💞💞

My hubby and I did this very nice wine & gin tour through Tamar Valley with our guide Gill. It was a cold & miserable day in Launceston so doing this tour was the best way we could of spent our day. We started at Josef Chromy vineyard for a tasting, then onto The Ducks for lunch which was very nice, finishing at Tamar Ridge Winery then next door to Turner Stillhouse 'Three Cuts Gin'. A very nice day with another lovely couple from Brisbane. The lunch and the gin distillery the highlight. A suggestion would be to get a microphone set-up in the van so the tour guide while driving could tell us about the area and history of wine & gin making. Gill was very knowledgeable but not able to communicate whilst driving in the van due to the road noise.

Gill was the perfect host, knowledgeable, informative and with a no fuss approach. Her choice of wineries was excellent and rapport with winery staff obvious. A great experience.
